Golding’s Story

Established in 2004 following the transfer of homes from Maidstone Borough Council, we have invested more than £150m in regenerating our homes and neighbourhoods.

Today we own and manage over 7,400 properties and provide a home for more than 20,000 people. We are committed to developing high-quality new homes for social, affordable and market rent, shared ownership and market sale.

Growth We will grow our
portfolio of new homes
across all tenures

  • We will grow our portfolio of homes by 5% per year and aim to have 8,000 homes in our ownership
  • We will develop approximately 800 new homes over the next 3 years
  • We will submit a planning application for the major regeneration of one of our neighbourhoods

Society Keeping our social
purpose at the heart
of what we do

  • For every pound spent we will achieve twice that through contributions from partner organisations
  • Our Social Return on Investment will total over £4m
  • We will continue to invest £500,000 per annum into community development initiatives

  • We will have launched a self-service platform for our customers that is accessible across a range of mobile devices
  • We willl have achieved a year on year reduction in costs per property
  • We will have moved towards a new modern working environment that supports higher levels of collaboration and productivity over the next three years
