Project

Barking & Dagenham College

An extensive new-build entrance atrium and workshop teaching block, plus renovation of existing facilities at the heart of a busy college campus.

The project has created a vibrant, attractive new façade and entrance atrium which is welcoming to all visitors whilst providing additional and enhanced student facilities for teaching and practical workshops.

A range of vocational facilities were included in the works, such as double height electrical and plumbing workshops and LRC. These look onto a glazed ‘street’ plus a restaurant, bakery, production kitchen, training kitchen, gallery area, new retail units for ‘pop up’ ventures and a state of the art Science, Technology, English & Maths facility, known as a ‘STEM’ building.
