Health & Safety
We follow a simple philosophy, everyone who comes to work has the right to go home healthy everyday. Woodley Coles LLP complies with both the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety Regulation 1999.
Our commitment to Health and Safety is confirmed with our:
Constructionline Gold Membership
CHAS Advanced Membership
Given the risks and danger our team might encounter during visits to construction sites, Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards are held by all those who are required to visit site as part of their role.
Unlike other professional service companies our team will encounter the added danger of visiting construction sites during their day to day activities.
Unfortunately construction sites are, no matter how well managed, dangerous.
Some perhaps take a safe working environment for granted, but making sure it happens on a construction site requires not only specific training and the right Personal Protective Equipment, but also a simple important commitment. If it is not safe, we will not do it.
No matter the amount of training and PPE; common sense, looking out for each other and sharing knowledge also play a great part in staying safe.
Woodley Coles have run a regular monthly forum for discussing Health & Safety matters both on and off-site throughout 2024 which has worked brilliantly to share knowledge, discuss our policies and H&S related experiences as a team. We look forward to continuing this throughout 2025.
Prioritising the Mental Health & Wellbeing of our staff is a passion of ours, ensuring everyone feels supported and valued as part of the Woodley Coles LLP team.
Our Objectives:
- Promote positive mental health at work
- Prevent and reduce work-related stress
- Provide mental health support and resources
- Foster an open, supportive work environment
- Raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health
Engaging in multiple Mental Health Awareness Days such as Brew Monday, Time to Talk Day, World Mental Health Day, January 10,000 Step Challenge and Stress Awareness Month has been a fantastic way to talk more, share more and support one another throughout the year. Our Mental Health First Aider, Rob Lillis, and key members of the team have made this space a really positive one for our business and we look forward to growing this further in years to come!
