Project
Ursuline College – Phase 2b Works
The new ICT teaching block features at the entrance of the school, providing three large classrooms, server room and toilet facilities; achieved using a MMC timber frame.
Further refurbishment works were also undertaken to improve the school facilities including parts of the Grade II listed building which created a new Learning Resource Centre, upgraded administrative spaces. Other updates included works to the additional teaching block where existing rooms were repurposed and made into science laboratories with the improvement of other associated spaces in those areas.
Works to improve on-site parking were also undertaken, including tree removal, replacement planting, new tarmac and other parking surfaces and the construction of a retaining wall with steps and slope.
The project was completely successfully within budget, having carefully managed the costs post contract and built a far and transparent relationship with WW Martin’s team.
