Principal Designer

Are you aware of your duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015)?

We can help by either acting as Principal Designer and/or Client CDM Advisor.

In both of these roles we closely assist our clients with their duties in relation to all health and safety aspects of their project. As principal designers we will help plan, manage, monitor and coordinate safety in the pre construction phase and ensure the design team carry out their duties in accordance with best practice.

Excellent communication between all stakeholders is paramount to ensure everyone fulfils their health and safety responsibilities for the life of the project, whether as designers or contractors. Acting on your behalf, we will ensure everyone involved in the project is suitably competent to carry out their duties.

We will notify the HSE, review construction phase plans and other safety related documents, prepare and update the health and safety file and ensure a behavioural approach to safety is instigated through site visits, risk assessment and method statement management, to ensure everyone is kept safe at all times.

We regularly undertake these roles on a variety of projects across all sectors where the welfare of those within the vicinity is at particular risk and an absolute priority.
